Mr. Lucas has consulted on subsurface problems and other miscellaneous environmental issues for 25 years. From a spill of diesel fuel in Montreal to Chinese drywall problems in Florida, he has provided sound consulting services to many clients in many locations.
He has focused on providing services to the insurance and transportation industries for many years. Regulatory negotiation and development of reasonable common sense remediation strategies are his strengths. Mr. Lucas has spent considerable time managing the emergency cleanups of large and small spills. He is also experienced in the general project management required for assessment of soil and groundwater impact and the long-term remedial actions sometimes necessary.
Mr. Lucas is the founder of Lighthouse Technical. He is a Licensed Geologist in North and South Carolina. He is an alumnus of Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina and is married with two wonderful children. He is a member of Christ Community Church in Huntersville, North Carolina. He enjoys fishing when time allows and has been quoted “Flounder are most happy fried; my intent is to assist as many as possible in their pursuit of happiness”.
